Complimentary Cosmetic Consultation

Your complimentary cosmetic consultation will take place with Dr. Billue at our Smiles of West Point location.

We will start by discussing your objections and expectations for your smile and evaluating the health and aesthetics of your entire mouth. Next, we will present a treatment plan that will list all of the treatment options so you can make an informed decision on how to move forward with your dental journey. We will be with you every step of the way to answer any questions that may arise. Dr. Billue has extensive training and experience in cosmetic dentistry. Her expertise along with excellent patient care are two key components that will help you reach your smile goals as quickly as possible.

Conditions We Can Fix with Cosmetic Dentistry

There are many ways to improve your smile, regardless of the issue. Here are some examples of common issues and how we would approach them:

Chipped Tooth or Rough Spots

We repair a chipped tooth or rough spots with porcelain veneers or dental bonding, which is the application of a composite resin the same color as your tooth, to repair decayed, chipped, fractured, or discolored teeth.

Broken-Down Teeth?

Porcelain crowns, inlays, or onlays are used to correct broken-down teeth.

Uneven Gum Line?

Dr. Billue can perform re-contouring to re-shape your teeth by adjusting your gum line.

Gummy Smile?

Excess gum tissue can be removed with our gentle soft-tissue lasers.

Teeth Are Too Small or Badly Shaped?

Porcelain veneers can be applied to make teeth appear uniform in color and size.

Stained or Discolored Teeth?

We offer several teeth whitening options at Smiles of West Point. Bleaching and Porcelain veneers are both used to improve the look of badly stained or discolored teeth.

Cavities or Silver (Metal) Fillings?

Dr. Billue can replace noticeable metal fillings with a natural-looking tooth-colored filling.

Gaps Between Your Teeth?

Gaps between teeth can often be treated with orthodontics, porcelain veneers or dental bonding.

Crooked Teeth

In some cases, misaligned teeth can be given a uniform appearance with porcelain veneers. In most cases, we recommend Invisalign, our invisible retainer option.

Our Approach to a Beautiful Smile Makeover

As we move forward with your smile makeover, a series of digital photos and impressions will be taken with our digital scanner. The information will then be uploaded to our 3D design software to be altered virtually. This will give us a visual representation of your future smile so you can see the progress that can be made with the proper treatment.

Porcelain Veneers

Thin porcelain facings are bonded to your teeth to cover discoloration, chips, gaps, mildly crooked teeth, and more.

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a more affordable alternative to porcelain veneers that uses a composite resin. Although this option is more accessible to many people, it is not quite as durable as veneers.

Orthodontics

Dr. Billue is trained in state-of-the-art teeth straightening solutions, including Invisalign clear aligners.

Professional Teeth Whitening

Dr. Billue offers bleaching that can be done at home.

Dental Implants for Missing Teeth

Our updated implant technology offers a beautiful and minimally invasive tooth replacement option.

Porcelain Crowns

In cases where porcelain crowns are necessary, Dr. Billue can fit you with a beautiful, natural looking, and durable crown to avoid further damage or decay in your tooth.

Laser Gum Re-Contouring

At Smiles of West Point, we use a soft-tissue laser to even out the gum line or treat a gummy smile.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

Composite dental fillings, also called “white fillings”, are directly bonded to the tooth and expand like natural teeth, which makes them stronger and less likely to crack than older amalgam (silver) fillings. In the past, traditional amalgam fillings were usually done, requiring the removal of a healthy portion of the tooth. However, composite fillings allow Dr. Billue to remove only the decayed area. We only use tooth-colored dental fillings at Smiles of West Point because they are most durable, attractive, and match well with adjacent, natural teeth.
